AUGUST 18 @ 7 PM VIRTUAL WEBINAR — WHAT DO OKLAHOMANS REALLY WANT WHEN IT COMES TO RELIGION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS?
Join the Oklahoma Rural Schools Coalition, Oklahoma PLAC, Oklahoma Faith Network, and Oklahoma Appleseed Center for Law and Justice for the launch of a brand-new Oklahoma-specific report examining what Oklahomans actually believe about religion in our public schools. For more than a year, these organizations have worked collaboratively across the state — holding listening sessions with parents, educators, faith leaders, tribal leaders, and community members, while also conducting extensive polling across political, religious, and geographic demographics.
The goal? To move beyond assumptions, political rhetoric, and headlines and gather real, quantifiable data about what Oklahomans want for their public schools.
Special guests include Rob Miller, retired superintendent of Bixby Public Schools, and Dr. Samuel Perry, nationally recognized Oklahoma author, OU professor, and leading expert on conservative Christianity and American politics.
Think you already know what the data will say? Guess again.
