About 2 weeks after you register, you’ll receive your Oklahoma Voter Card in the mail, which includes your voting location.
Once you receive it, visit your Oklahoma Voter Portal to check your voting location, view a sample ballot, update your address or party affiliation, and request a mail-in ballot.

You’re registered and have seen your sample ballot. Now it’s time to learn more about who and what you’re voting for! The Oklahoma Rural Schools Coalition created a non-partisan voter guide to help you research before you vote. You can also take a list with you when you vote. Before you begin, write down the following from your voter portal:

Paso 5: ¡Preséntate y VOTA!

It’s Election Day! In most elections, voting takes less than 15 minutes once you arrive. Sometimes, especially in November, lines may be longer. Make a plan before you go. A few things to remember that day:
You must bring an acceptable form of ID — click here to see the list.
Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are in line by 7:00 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.
You may bring your children with you, but they must stay with you and remain quiet.
You may not wear campaign clothing or gear or promote candidates or ballot issues while waiting to vote.
By law, your employer MUST give you time off to vote
Take your voting "cheat sheet" to remember how you plan on voting
Don’t forget to pick up your “I Voted!” sticker on your way out!
